FAMILY ROOTS

The house was built by Joan Isern Pallejà from ca l'Arbolí, Masriudoms, born around 1836, and married Teresa Saladié Escoda from "cal Pep" in Castelló. They had four children: Maria, Josep, Manel, and Salvador Isern Saladié. According to historical records, the family came from l'Arbolí.
The house, which had its own well and cistern, was divided into two parts: one for Josep Isern Saladié and Josepa Pallarés Sentís, and the other for Salvador Isern Saladié.
Josep Isern Saladié and Josepa Pallarés Sentís, originally from the town of Perelló, had five sons and two daughters.
The house was later divided into two parts: one for Manuel Isern Pallarés and the other for Rafel Isern Pallarés. 13-15 Main Street.
 

DESCRIPTION

“Cal Cot” is a fully independent home located in the heart of the Costa Dorada (Tarragona).
The house is located in the heart of the village. No need to use a car to get around town. There is public parking (free of charge) on the same street and in the surrounding area. Very close to shops and just a 5-minute walk from the beach.
The house was completely renovated by the family between 2018 and 2021. The house dates back to around 1860. It retains part of its original structure: wooden floors and beams that contrast with the period stone walls. The ground floor features a spacious hall, a wood-burning fireplace, a guest toilet, and an open-plan kitchen-dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and more. On the first floor, the hall leads to two 15 m² bedrooms and a 7 m² bathroom. On the second floor, there is a loft used as a storage room and another area for the washing machine and iron. From here, you can access the 9 m2 outdoor terrace. A hairdryer, bath towels, bed linen (two per bed), beach chairs and umbrella, a crib, and a baby highchair are provided. The apartment is located in the center of town, in a quiet area, a 5-minute walk from the beach. There are prepared food establishments, shops, bars, and more on the same street.
